Olivia + Jack | Estes Park Rocky Mountain Wedding
Raquel + James | Denver Botanic Garden Wedding
Raquel + James,
I loved shooting your engagement photos (in RiNo with all the vibrant street murals). I was thrilled to be working with you again at the Denver Botanics Gardens- which is one of the most beautiful venues in Denver. You two are so freaking cool. You embody Welcoming and Accepting. You are so down to earth, chill, and fun.
Molly + Alex | Lake Dillon Wedding
Molly + Alex,
Thank you so much for entrusting me with your wedding. What an extremely kind, fun, funny, and romantic couple you are. Not to mention, the Biggest Dog Lovers! This is just a very small portion of your day displayed below- but even in just these photos- you can get a sense of everything I mentioned above. You two are pure sunshine.
Megan + Jace | Evergreen Lake House
Hannah + Garrett | Roxborough Park Engagement
Hannah + Garrett’s story began in 2015 right after they graduated high school; they immediately became best friends. Shortly after, Garrett joined the Army; but they kept in touch every single day and would see each other every time he was on leave and came home. When he got out in 2018; they started dating and on February 26th of this year we were in Estes park and he popped the question!
Garrett was born and raised in Littleton, and Hannah was born and raised in Thailand but moved here in high school because her family is from here. They are getting married at Ken Caryl Vista (by Wedgewood weddings): in Littleton, CO.
Laura + Adrian | Evergreen Barn
Laura + Adrian got engaged in Jamaica in March 2019. They were planning on getting married in Jamaica in April 2021, however, with all the uncertainty of Covid; they decided to unfortunately cancel their international wedding.
Like many “Covid Couples” they were married at the courthouse on April 23, 2021. But celebrate with family and friends on September 16th, 2021 in Evergreen, CO. The Evergreen Barn at Memorial Park had stunning views of wild life (Bison, Elk, and even a Pet Cemetery)
The Rustic Charm of the venue gave the perfect mountain town meets vintage country vibes. The guests enjoyed dancing the night away with Laura + Adrian; with a gorgeous Donut Wall for dessert! The string lights inside and outside the barn, provided the perfect ambiance for the magical evening.
Micayah + Connor | Breckenridge Elopement
Micayah + Connor’s elopement was such a great story. I’ve known Micayah since she was about 15 or 16, and I was in college. Since about 2010, I think? She has always felt like family to me ( I won’t go into our history, but it is a unique one that I cherish). When I saw she was engaged to Connor- and the look of pure happiness on her face in the photos- I was just so ecstatic that she found her guy. I’ve met multiple of her partners before Connor, and you can tell they have such a fun and genuine connection.
She asked me if they could come to Colorado (from Kentucky/Ohio area) and have me take their photos on 4-3-21. (Yes, I am way late on posting these!). But the “catch” was that it was a secret for awhile…. Hence the elopement. (But no longer!)
Finally, after months of knowing they were coming, they arrived in Colorado the day before. They technically had to get their marriage license that day (4-2-21) because the courthouse wasn’t open on Saturdays in the country they were trying to elope in. (Pro-Tip: Colorado allows you to not have a minister to elopement and marry!)
We kept Micayah and Connor away from each other all day while she got her hair and makeup done in Denver, and then we drove up to Breckenridge. They had plotted out a SUPER secluded spot (this time of year in early April- most mountain areas are still very covered in snow and not much foot traffic).
We parked at the location they scouted out and Connor (without seeing Micayah) started walking to the spot to get set up in his spot to be looking away from her. Along the way, the path was covered in about 5 feet or so of snow. So any time we stepped closer and closer to the final secluded spot- we would sink up to our waist in snow. It was quite the journey there!
As we got closer, Micayah finally got in her dress as I tried to stand on packed snow to help her (only for this girl!). I didn’t have much music downloaded on my phone, but decided to play “Kiss the Girl” from the Little Mermaid as she walked up to him for the “First Look”. I was so honored to have been in the middle of no where with them and witness them saying their vows to each other and capture this moment for my long time friend and little sis. We were freezing by the end of their vows + photos, so we headed back through the treacherous snow (only fell about 9-10 times along the way, haha). We broke open the champagne to celebrate.
To top off the incredible day, we swung by Sapphire point afterwards for some photos overlooking Lake Dillon. Some perfectly placed rose petals lay on the ground on the spot we stopped at. It was such a beautiful and special time I will never forget.
Ellie + Sam | Santa Fe Arts District Wedding
Jill + Jas | Lyons Farmette Wedding
Jill + Jason were like many couples in 2020, engaged to be married- but during a year that rocked the world. COVID-19 caused so many couples to postpone their weddings or replace large weddings with small intimate ceremonies. Some even opted for the courthouse option. Jill & Jas ended up marrying last year, but decided to have a celebration with their vaccinated guests, including an adorable beverage Burro named Betty.

Christmas Time is Here!
Magical Harry Potter Engagement: Sean + Cassandra
Come take a journey into the Forbidden Forrest with Cassandra + Sean as they perform their Unbreakable Vows in front of their dogs Kylo and Riddick (they also have a cat named Draco!). As a long time Harry Potter fan, I was thrilled that Cassandra + Sean reached out to me to photograph their Harry Potter themed engagement session AND wedding. Every detail was thoughtfully planned out- from their wands, to homemade Dragon Eggs and a handcrafted Monster Book of Monsters. I can’t even imagine how fun their wedding is going to be! We lucked out with this gorgeous snow that was dusted over what looks like the Forbidden Forrest in the background.. Feel free to share this session if you enjoyed it!
Denver Engagement Shoot: Chris + Elyse
We drove to what we thought was a sunflower field, upon our surprise- the Sunflowers had not bloomed yet. So we found some purple flowers, some horses, and had a fun little smoke bomb shoot. These two are my good friends. They are both so talented and so genuine. I can’t wait to see them get married next year.
Michelle & Jay: Colorado Wedding
Michelle & Jay had a picture perfect morning wedding. Their venue, The Lionsgate Event Center, represented their personalities so well. Fun and funky, but also elegant and charming. The ceremony room was filled top to bottom with chandeliers, timeless mirrors- even chandeliers hung in the trees outside. The reception area (The Dove House) was filled with clawfoot couches, Pop Art of Audrey Hepburn, along with colorful roosters roaming around outside….
During the reception, guests dined on some VooDoo doughnuts while Jay and Michelle went around and chatted with all the tables. Then, after beautiful speeches by their best friends-Michelle decided to give a small surprise speech as well. She announced to the room that the dress she was wearing belonged to her mother. She made it her own with some alterations, and every little detail of the dress was so special. She also used her mom’s vintage blue garter and showcased her wedding crown on top of a beautiful antique piano.
Since her father lives in St. Louis, he could not make the ceremony for travel and health reasons, but Michelle wanted to make sure he got to see her in her wedding dress (that his wife wore the day of their wedding). So she flew to St. Louis, hired a team for hair and makeup-as if she were getting married that day- and slipped on her mother’s wedding dress. Then she went to see her dad. Michelle gave a beautiful, emotional speech about her father’s reaction to seeing her in the dress. Which was accompanied by a tear jerking video she played for the entire reception. Many tears were shed during the video by her family and friends.
Smells of donuts, pastries and chocolate covered bacon filled the rooms. The day was not short of sweetness (especially the sweetness of this incredible couple). These two marathon runners were the object of everyone’s adoration. Throughout the day their friends and family (Jay’s daughter officiated the wedding) gave them such beautiful praise for both their strength and determination through races and through their lives. Those sentiments were woven in their ceremony by Jay’s daughter, who pronounced them Husband and wife. Right after the announcement, they began a flash mob of dancing as they danced down the aisle.
Michelle showcased her dress all throughout the night, including during the first dance. Jay and Michelle practiced a dance to perform surrounded by their friends. Dancing in her dress gained her a round of applause from the room of guests. After some fun group photos, some photobooth boomerangs, and a special moment in front of a yellow truck- it was time for the couple to make their grand edit. Remaining friends and family gathered together outside to throw Lavender at the couple. Jay and Michelle made their way out of the Lionsgate laughing and cheering, waving their final goodbye.
